The Brooks Academy competed at the 2nd Annual Harker Middle School Tournament, hosted by The Harker School. Our school fielded over thirty students in the tournament, and after two hard fought days, finished with multiple finalists in both speech and debate events, and four 1st Place finishes.
Congratulations to everyone that participated on a great showing this weekend against some of the top middle school programs in the country!

** Sadly, this tournament did not break brackets, and two of our Public Forum teams were eliminated because they were matched up against other teams from The Brooks Academy who advanced over them. A special congratulations to our two teams who achieved the difficult task of advancing to elimination rounds, and were only eliminated due to tournament rules.
